| Comment | Had a lovely swim in good conditions and laughed and joked most of the way across. Even had to wait to cross both shipping lanes due to very heavy converging traffic. Enjoyed every single stroke with the sun beating down on my back and the glistening water. Thanks to my training partner Adam Walker, my fantastic support team (Tim Roberts, Adrian Wright & my sister Alexis) Fred Mardle for piloting me straight on to Cap Gris Nez and to Freda & her team at Dover Harbour for her tutelage, advise and faith in me and last but not least for my mum and sisters seeing me off and greeting me when I landed again |
