Channel Swims kick off again

After twelve days of no CS&PF Channel swims, we're off again

The whole 10-18th July tide has been 'weathered out' for the CS&PF pilots and swimmers.  Now we have some decent weather, the swims have kicked off again.  Great news.

Today we have four boats out, all starting around 08:30 from Shakespere Beach:

Lance Oram on Sea Satin
Lance is out with French woman Marian Cardwell.  The photo above shows it's looking nice out there.

Mike Oram on Gallivant
Mike has Tori Gorman from Sydney for a solo.

Paul Foreman on Pace Arrow
Paul has the 3-man relay "Just Channel Hopping", made up of Carmen Scales, Helen McKerrow and John Rice.

Eddie Spelling on Anastasia
Eddie has taken Barton Cobb from Florida, USA.  Sadly the swim ended after two hours.

There are also a number of CSA boats out, having started in the early hours of the morning.  We wish them well.

Good luck to all who are swimming in the next few days.
