The 'Dunkirk Dynamos' relay team set off from Ramsgate around 9am on Sunday 10th July 2022, and landed in Belgium some 26 hours 22 minutes later.  Many congratulations to the swimmers, pilots and observers.

The route is a tricky one, crossing a lot of exposed sea, and then safely navigating along the the narrow channels between sandbanks that run parallel to the coast further east than Calais, hence the portion of the swim route that went alongside the coast. Mike Oram and his crew on Gallivant made it look easy.
