Eddie has been escorting Channel Swimmers for over 10 years.  His boat is very much a family run boat, with his son-in-law Rob as a permantent crew member.  Eddie's son Mike is hoping to become a pilot, and is currenty training in the North Sea.

His escort boat is 'Anastasia', a 42ft Dutch Steel flybridge motorcruiser. She has RYA/MCA Small Commercial Craft & Workboat registration: Class 2 (60 miles from safe haven).
