| Comment | This was the second of a three race challenge against Des Renford:- Sydney Harbour, Manley to the Opera House, won by Kevin Murphy; this swim across the Channel, won by Des Renford; and the length of Loch Ness, abandoned by Renford after 5 hours and Murphy after 10 hours. The series was declared an honourable draw. |
