Today we said thanks and farewell to a very much loved member of the Channel Swimming community.

Ady's send off was a celebration of his life. He was surrounded by his loved ones and many friends.

Wonderful tributes were said and lots of bright colours worn, and of course lots of Battenburg cake eaten! The world has lost a very special person.

"Swim those clouds Ady". Your duty is done..
