The CS&PF has spoken to the Home Office and received verbal confirmation that we can continue Channel swimming without fear of quarantine, as long as the swimmer is not in contact with anyone for the brief moment they land in France.

We have been promised  further written confirmation of this by email but it may take around 48 hours to be received.

We ask that any wellwishers meeting Channel swimmers on a French beach should stay well clear of physical contact
