Swim Story Format
Here are some basic guidelines on swim stories format and content:
- Each story should be no longer than 1,500 words, written in English
- If you have any videos you would like to include, please send us YouTube or Vimeo links, up to 5
- Please send in any photos, up to 30. Bear in mind that maximum web resolution is 800px wide, so if possible, please rescale them before sending
- We reserve the right to alter the text for editorial reasons
- President's decision on the Story of the Month is final
Publishing Rules
We reserve the right not to publish swim stories which:
- Are considered likely to disrupt, provoke, attack or offend others
- Are racist, sexist, homophobic, sexually explicit, abusive or otherwise objectionable
- Contain swear words or other language likely to offend
- Break the law or condone or encourage unlawful activity. This includes breach of copyright, defamation and contempt of court.
- Advertise products or services for profit or gain
- Are seen to impersonate someone else
- Include contact details such as phone numbers, postal or email addresses
- Are written in anything other than English
- Contain links to other websites which CS&PF deems inappropriate
- Describe or encourage activities which could endanger the safety or well-being of others
- Are considered to be off-topic.
