The last successful CS&PF solo was on the 21st September!!  Steve Hayes wasn't put off, and made it to France.

The weather has been terrible since the 22nd of September, when our last relays swam.  Many thought the season was over, but Steve Hayes from Jersey thought otherwise and swam the Channel on Sunday in 17 hours and 47 minutes.  Brilliant swim; well done.

One must also congratulate the two successful CSA swimmers that braved the cold: Cathie Smith in 16 hours 30 mins and James Penrose in 13 hours 32 mins.
