'STUNNING' September

The start of September has been phenomenally busy for pilots and swimmers alike

After the final eight days of August were up, it was as if the floodgates had opened up! The CS&PF pilots clocked up no less than 14 solo successes and 14 relay successes.  This includes a 2-way solo (Stuart Johnson - right), a 2-way relay ('2 by 3'), a new world record for the 'Arch to Arc' (Mark Bayliss - above) and a new world record for the Channel (Trent Grimsey).  WOW!!!

The 2012 CS&PF Swims list has been updated during this period.

Stuart starting his second 'length'

Below is a summary of the swims that went out.  A list just doesn't do the swimmers and their journeys justice, so if you have a story you'd like to share, please let us know.

As usual, all times and results are unofficial until officially ratified by the CS&PF Committee.

A mention must be given to Chloe McCardel for her second 2-way Channel swim.  She swam with the CSA on Saturday and Sunday the 8/9th September with The Brickel Brothers as her pilot.  She was aiming for a 3-way, and managed the double in a very quick time of 19 hours and 20 minutes.

Chloe then left 'Shaky' beach for the third crossing, but left the water a couple of hours later.

A very impressive swim, from a very impressive swimmer.  Many congratulations Chloe from the CS&PF.
