Ladies break the 2-way ladies relay world record

Six ladies set off for a 'day trip' to France to break a world record.  They broke it by just four minutes!!

Six women from Ann Arbor, Michigan swam the English Channel to increase awareness of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and raise money to find a cure.

Their target was a two-way crossing and their goal was to break the world record of 18 hours 59 minutes. They did it JUST!!  Their first crossing was 9 hours and 31 minutes.  The way back took 9 hours and 24 minutes.  Total time 18 hours and 55 minutes.

A MASSIVE well done to them.
