On 11 November 2021, Steve Stievenart swam the English Channel in a time of 16 hours 47 minutes - the latest CS&PF solo English Channel crossing ever (subject to ratification).
He was ablely piloted by Marilyn Critchely onboard High Hopes.
Kathy Batts, the CS&PF Treasurer and Observer Liaison Officer said 'It was truly amazing to see in such changing and challenging conditions.'
