Channel Swimming & Piloting Federation "Nothing great is easy", Captain Matthew Webb

15 Apr 2020Coronavirus / Covid-19 Update

The CS&PF continues to monitor the situation. It is still not clear what will be happening when the Channel swimming season starts in June.

We are continuing to take registrations and ask that all swimmers keep in close contact with their pilots to understand the plans they are putting in place to manage the season.

Registrations

Given the unprecedented situations, for the 2020 season the CS&PF will refund your admin fee and crossing fee if your swim is moved from 2020 by your pilot. You will need to re-register your swim in the new season.

Medicals

We understand that it maybe more difficult to obtain a medical at the moment, please try to get yours in ASAP to the CS&PF office.

Assessment Swim

At present there is no change to the assessment swim criteria. We will continue to monitor and review this as the season progresses.

We will continue to keep you informed of any updates as they arise.

We wish you well and trust that you will stay safe.
